About this Course:
Buying or selling a tenant-occupied property in Oregon presents unique legal, practical, and emotional challenges. From statutory notice requirements and tenant protections to access issues, lender concerns, and deal-killing missteps, these transactions require careful planning and a solid understanding of Oregon landlord-tenant law.
This class walks participants through the most common barriers encountered when a property is sold with tenants in place—and how to overcome them lawfully and strategically. Attendees will gain a working knowledge of tenant rights during a sale, required disclosures, lawful entry and showing practices, handling rent, deposits, and navigating terminations, buy-outs, and negotiations without triggering liability.
Designed for landlords, property managers, and real estate professionals, this course blends statutory guidance with real-world scenarios and best practices to help transactions move forward while minimizing risk. Participants will leave better equipped to protect their interests, avoid costly mistakes, and successfully close deals involving tenant-occupied property in Oregon.

Register online and watch at your own home or work computer, even your phone. Chat box will allow you to ask questions directly to the instructor and to sign in each hour for the CE requirements. Camera and Microphone will be disabled for all participants.
To receive CE credits you must sign-in at the beginning of the webinar and at intervals throughout the class and at the end.
