The Simple Secret to Successful Property Management: It's all about the Forms!
This seminar is designed as an instructional guide to successfully manage the aspects of tenancy. Everything from finding a good tenant to ending the tenancy involves proper completion of the paperwork. The Oregon Rental Housing Association just finished a year long review and updating of all forms and the addition of new forms. Forms have new code numbers. This course covers which forms are available, the process of correctly filling out the forms, explaining term meanings, timelines, and the implications and consequences of using the forms .
The brand new 2022-23 Forms Manual will be provided with the class.
Speaker: Violet Wilson
Violet Wilson is the "V" in V & R Management. Violet is Oregon licensed and works full-time as a property manager. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from San Jose State University and a Masters of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She was a high school teacher for over 34 years in California and Oregon schools.
V & R Management, LLC has operated since 1990, specializing in single family home rentals but they have managed all types of properties.
Violet is a past vice president of Oregon Rental Housing Association, current chair of the ORHA Education Committee, and serves on the ORHA Legislative Action Committee. Since 2008, she has taught property management classes for local and the state housing provider associations. In addition, she has volunteered to teach classes to help tenants become better residents.
