Renter's Insurance - Important facts Landlords need to know

Presented by Jim Kuhlman - State Farm Insurance

Jim has been in the insurance industry for 20 years. He is a member of LBRHA and very active in the community and works closely with the apartment complexes in town.

This presentation will cover:

• What are the rules around requiring tenants to purchase Renters Ins?
• What does Renters Insurance cover (and what ways can a person personalize their coverage)?
• What does it cost for Renters Insurance?
• Are there any limitations for coverage (specifically what about dog breeds)?
• How do you deal with roommates… do they all need their own, can they all be on one policy, etc…?
• Should the apartment/owner/management company be listed as “Interested Party”?

Time: Evening Class - 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
