Hoarding disorder is a disability under the Fair Housing Act, these individuals have the right to request a reasonable accommodation from a housing provider

Have you come across any tenants, or maybe even loved ones that suffer from hoarding tendencies?  Hoarding has become a major epidemic and is now recognized as a mental disorder.  In this 1 hour course, ServiceMaster will provide basic information about this mental illness in order to give you a better understanding of how to work with an individual struggling with hoarding behaviours.  ServiceMaster will also include examples of hazardous damages that can occur at a property that has been affected by compulsive hoarding, and steps to take to remedy the situation.
