Senate Bill 608 - The Tenant Protection Bill
Speaker: Tia Politi

Tia is a licensed property manager, rental owner, and president of Rental Owners Association of Lane County. She worked for many years providing residential property management and eviction services, and currently works as a Property Management Supervisor overseeing four low-income apartment complexes through the Homes for Good Housing Agency in Eugene, OR. She serves as the secretary for the Oregon Rental Housing Association (ORHA), heads up the ORHA Forms Committee, serves as a volunteer instructor for St. Vincent de Paul's Second Chance Renters Rehab Program, and teaches classes in rental management through her association.
What does it mean?
Senate Bill 608 - The Tenant Protection Bill
- Substantially alters the relationship between tenants and landlords
- Is causing confusion and uncertainty among both parties
- Is complex and has high penalties for landlord error
- Requires education for everyone
- ORHA Education, Inc. is providing a FREE two - hour class with handouts for anyone that would like to attend and learn about the new law.
You can attend either of the 2-hour classes, as they are both the same.
No registration is necessary but come early to sign in and secure a seat as space is limited to 100.
Handouts will be provided at the class, but bring your own writing utensil and/or clipboard if you wish, as tables will be unavailable to accommodate the seating.
