Landlording 101

This seminar will focus on what you need to know to rent your property.  Topics covered will be; required disclosures and agreements, Fair Housing and the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, Credit and Criminal Reports, the Move-in/Move-out process, Habitability requirements and what it means to you, Reasonable Accommodations, and how to determine the “right” rent and deposit amounts for your rental property. There will be plenty of time available for your questions.

Terry is the current president of Oregon Rental Housing Association and a board member of Central Oregon Rental Owners Association.  Terry was a licensed property manager for more than 20 years, and has owned two property management companies.  She provides classes and seminars throughout Oregon for rental owners and property managers.  Terry’s focus on education and sharing her experiences make her a popular resource.  She is the voice of Oregon Rental Housing’s landlord help line, daily answering questions and giving assistance to rental owners and property managers.
