Landlording 101

This seminar is designed to be both a class for beginners and a "brush-up-your-skills" class for the more experienced landlords. ORHA forms will be reviewed, along with the laws that each one addresses so the landlords will understand the basis for their design. Special emphasis will be given to which form to use when, why to use it, and how to use it.

In addition, various techniques and skills of screening applicants will be covered, with examples of each one. Also he will cover the how, why, and timing of raising rents, the skills and considerations of negotiating the amount of rent, and recommended rental or lease terms.
